Indian Army has organised a four-day recruitment drive for women in Uttar Pradesh.
The recruitment drive has been organised at AMC stadium in Lucknow Cantonment.
The Army is conducting tests to recruit eligible candidates in military police.
Around 8,000 women have registered themselves for the recruitment drive.
The four-day recruitment drive for women will conclude on January 21.
Major General NS Rajpurohit, ADG (Recruitment), Indian Army said "We will be covering 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh and 15 in Uttarakhand.
We are happy to see that a lot of women have participated with enthusiasm in this drive.
This is the second phase of the recruitment process, they are here for physical tests.
