See Hong Kong police arrest former pro-democracy lawmakers
Hong Kong police said they arrested 55 former pro-democracy lawmakers and opposition activists for the crime of “subverting state power” in connection with an informal primary election that took place in July 2020 ahead of the city’s Legislative Council elections.
Most of them have been granted bail without charge for now.
