Singapore's contact tracing technology sparks privacy concerns

Singapore’s digital contact tracing program has raised concerns after the government admitted that data collected by it can be handed to police for criminal investigations.

This is in contrast with previous assurances that the widely used, and in some places mandatory, technology would only be used to track Covid-19 infections.
