Amit Sadh: Don't want to be a star but there should be place for everyone
Bollywood actor Amit Sadh speaks to HT City Entertainment Editor, Monika Rawal, about his journey from films to films to web projects, time when there was a lull in his career and how projects like Breathe and Sultan gave his career a new direction.
While the Kai Po Che actor is extremely grateful for a great 2020 with four back-to-back releases including Breathe: Into The Shows, Shakuntala Devi, Avrodh and Yaara, he's looking forward to an even more exciting 2021 with his first project, JeetKiZidd, releasing on January 22.
Sadh also shares his views about why it's not fair to put actors in a box and asserts that "I am actor and I make films for the audiences, so whether they release on OTT platforms or theatres, they should reach them." Opening up about the much talked about insider vs outsider debate, he says he'd rather focus on improving his craft and not pay heed to such discussions.
On personal front, Sadh quips he's currently in relationship with his work, and he hopes love would happen when it has to happen and when the time comes, he would get married.
