Israel has released 200 Palestinian prisoners as part of the ongoing ceasefire deal following the release of four Israeli hostages. The prisoners, some of whom have been incarcerated for decades, were seen on buses heading to Gaza, Jerusalem, and Ramallah, with many flashing victory signs through the windows. The release comes after the return of the four Israeli female soldiers who were held hostage for 477 days. While some Palestinians celebrated the return of the prisoners, others were disheartened by the deportation of 70 prisoners, who are prohibited from returning to Gaza or the West Bank.
