The US writer Paul Auster, known for acclaimed novels such as 4 3 2 1 and The New York Trilogy, has died at the age of 77.

Author Paul Auster dies at 77. The writer of The New York Trilogy passed away on Tuesday following a battle with Lung Cancer. Aster was diagnosed with cancer back in December of 2022 as reported by his wife in an Instagram post last year. His passing was confirmed by his friend and fellow writer Jacki Lyden. Guests for John Mulaney Netflix special Everybody's in L.A. include David Letterman, Jerry Seinfeld, Bill Hader, and more. The six-episode comedy special is set to debut its first episode on the streaming platform May 3 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT as part of the annual "Netflix is a Joke Festival" in Los Angeles. The other five installments of the series will air nightly from May 6 to May 10 at the same times previously listed. Frank Sinatra and Mia Farrow's former New York City home listed for $4.45 million. The property was owned by Sinatra for 6 years between 1963 and 1969. Located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, the 4 bed 4 ½ bath townhouse offers 3,730 square feet with the lower level adding an additional 933 square feet.
