Poland, Czech Republic start Slovak border checks to curb migration

Poland and the Czech Republic said Tuesday they were introducing checks on their borders with Slovakia in a bid to curb growing illegal migration. Germany said last week it would step up policing of its borders with Poland and the Czech Republic in a bid to get a grip on rising levels of illegal migration.
