Greece Wildfires: Country at the brink of mammoth disaster with no let-ups in blazing infernos
Wildfires still continue to spread throughout Greece—including near Athens—burning thousands of acres and prompting widespread evacuations in Greece. These wildfires have now expanded into Turkey, the latest instance of devastation from wildfires seen around the world this summer amid the impacts of climate change.
