Six children injured in mass stabbing in French town Annecy: Source

A total of seven people including six children have been injured in a mass stabbing in the town of Annecy in the French Alps, security sources said. A man armed with a knife attacked a group of children aged around three years old at 9:45 am (0745 GMT) on Thursday at a park near the lake in the town, the source added.

France knife attack victims no longer in life-threatening condition says prosecutor
The victims of a knife attack in the French town of Annecy are no longer in life-threatening condition, prosecutor Line Bonnet-Mathis says at a press conference. The Syrian refugee detained in the stabbing of six people including four young children in the French Alpine town of Annecy has been charged with "attempted murder", the prosecutor also announced.
