Kuwait fire reduces to ashes many a dream

A massive fire broke out in a six-storey building in Kuwait's Ahmadi Governorate, resulting in over 40 fatalities and nearly 50 injuries. The blaze originated from a kitchen in a lower floor of the labour camp and quickly spread due to glass windows, trapping many inside. The building housed labourers from Kerala and Tamil Nadu, belonging to the NBTC Group owned by businessman KG Abraham.
