Ahead of the impending Lok Sabha elections, Lok Sabha MP Danish Ali, recently suspended from the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), has made a significant political move by joining the Congress party. This decision follows Ali's meeting with former Congress president Sonia Gandhi at her residence in New Delhi's 10 Janpath, where he sought her blessings just five days prior. Speculation is rife that the Congress party intends to nominate Ali as its candidate for the Amroha constituency in Uttar Pradesh, a seat acquired through negotiations with the Samajwadi Party during their seat-sharing discussions.
