Will deport those who came to Manipur after 1961: CM N Biren

Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh declared on Monday that anyone arriving and residing in the state after 1961, regardless of caste or community, will be identified and deported. This is considered as a measure to preserve Manipur's ethnic minorities, which have been plagued by sectarian strife since May 2023.
