NTA forms Grievance Redressal Committee to address exam time concerns in NEET UG 2024

NTA has informed that Writ Petitions were filed by the candidates of NEET UG 2024 before the High Court of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and Chhattisgarh, raising concerns of loss of exam time during the conduct of NEET (UG) 2024 at a few Exam Centres.

Neet Exam Results Scam: NTA Announces High-powered Committee To Analyse Grievances Of 1,600 Students
NTA DG Subodh Kumar Singh addressed concerns regarding the NEET exam, stating that a committee reviewed centre details and CCTV footage, finding time discrepancies at some centres. As a result, compensation was given to affected students by increasing their marks, leading to new top scorers. Singh emphasised that only 6 out of 4750 centres were affected, impacting 1600 students out of 24 lakh. He assured the integrity of the exam remained intact nationwide, highlighting transparency and no instances of paper leaks.
