In a significant development in the NEET UG exam controversy, six individuals have been arrested in connection with the case.
The accused were taken from LNJP Hospital, Patna after their medical examination, following their arrest by Bihar Police in Jharkhand's Deoghar on June 21.
The marking scheme of the National Testing Agency (NTA) led to nationwide protests and forced the NTA to clarify the distribution of wrong papers to 1563 candidates and torn OMR sheets at six centers.
The Supreme Court has now ordered a re-test for all candidates who received grace marks.
