Thomas Tuchel has defended criticism of him spending time in Germany after his appointment as England boss, saying he was there to see his children.

The England manager adds that he and his backroom staff attended almost 25 live matches ahead of his team selections for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Albania and Latvia.
