Al Green, D-Texas, was escorted out of the House chamber Tuesday night after disrupting President Donald Trump’s joint address to Congress.

Green, a longtime advocate for Trump’s impeachment, stood up and waved his cane at the president just minutes into the speech.

His actions sparked a mix of cheers and boos from fellow lawmakers, causing a brief commotion.

House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., reminded members to maintain decorum, but when Green refused to back down, Johnson ordered the sergeant at arms to remove him.
