EU eyeing India defence and security partnership, says von der Leyen

The European Union is exploring a security and defence partnership with India, EU chief Ursula von der Leyen says before meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.

The pact would work to counter common threats, including "cross-border terrorism, maritime security threats" as well as cyber-attacks.
