BJP has named Rekha Gupta as the new Chief Minister of Delhi, making her the fourth woman to hold the post after Sushma Swaraj, Sheila Dikshit, and Atishi.
The first-time MLA from Shalimar Bagh was picked over several senior leaders.
Meanwhile, Parvesh Kumar, who defeated Arvind Kejriwal in the elections, has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Minister.
