U.S Army Bars Transgender Recruits | Halts Gender Transition Treatments Under Trump’s Military Order

The US Army has implemented an immediate ban on transgender recruits and halted all gender transition-related procedures for service members.

This follows President Donald Trump’s executive order mandating adherence to biological Sex in the military.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has also eliminated DEI programs, emphasizing unity over diversity.

The move reverses Biden’s 2021 repeal of Trump’s earlier ban.

Advocacy groups estimate 15,000 transgender individuals serve in the military, though official reports suggest the number is much lower.
