A US military aircraft carrying 205 deported Indian nationals took off from Texas as part of tightened immigration enforcement.
A US embassy spokesperson reiterated that illegal migration is not worth the risk, highlighting the Trump administration’s strict border policies.
Reports suggest this is the first of many such deportations, with 18,000 illegal Indian migrants identified.
The move comes ahead of PM Modi’s possible US visit.
