Matthew Livelsberger, an Army Special Forces soldier, detonated a rented Tesla Cybertruck outside Trump International Hotel, Las Vegas, on January 1, 2025.

Before the blast, he fatally shot himself inside the vehicle.

The explosion caused minor injuries to seven bystanders but no additional fatalities.

Investigators are examining potential political motives and personal struggles, including marital issues and infidelity.
