Arnold Schwarzenegger Plays Santa in First Film Role in 5 Years, Actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley Undergoes 3-Hour Surgery to R
Arnold Schwarzenegger is back on the big screen playing Santa for his first movie role in 5 years.
He was spotted in New York City filming scenes for a new Amazon MGM Studios film, The Man with the Bag , sporting lots of white hair and a wardrobe full of Christmas cheer.
Schwarzenegger had stepped back from acting to focus on politics and activism and hasn't been in a holiday film since Jingle All the Way in 1996.
The synopsis for this new film says, "When Santa's magic bag is stolen, he turns to his naughty list to find Vance, a former thief, to help him get it back.
Along with his daughter, Santa, and a group of misfit elves, Vance will have to pull off the greatest heist of his life to save Christmas." Actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley undergoes 3-hour surgery to restore voice after barely being able to speak since 2022.
The Father of the Bride star first lost her voice back in November 2022 while hosting an Alzheimer's fundraiser in honor of her late mom.
In a People magazine interview, she shared how terrifying her experience was.
When she went to use the mic, nothing came out, and she immediately knew something was wrong.
She was diagnosed with muscle tension dysphonia, which meant the muscles in her neck were so tense they were locking up her vocal cords.
In August, Williams-Paisley underwent medialization laryngoplasty for three hours, which was a success, and now has her voice back.
