Holden: Five years is too long for unsafe cladding action

The Government admits up to 7,000 buildings with unsafe materials remain unidentified.

Under a new plan, all high-rises over 18m with dangerous cladding will be fixed by 2029.

Shadow Paymaster General Richard Holden criticised the timeline, calling five years "a very, very long time" and urging faster action, particularly against those involved in illegal practices before Grenfell.
