First published in 1967, One Hundred Years of Solitude is one of the emblematic works of Gabriel García Márquez, winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1982.

Considered a masterpiece of Spanish-American / universal literature and receiving enormous popular acclaim, it has sold over 50 million copies & is translated into more than 40 languages.
