Florida passed permanent Daylight Savings Time.

It was signed by Governor DeSantis.

Yet we are still switching our various time pieces back an hour this Saturday.

Why?

Because the federal government says so, and the States can't just set their own time between Daylight Savings and Standard.

But is that really true?
