FBI Investigates Vancouver Ballot Box Arson as Hundreds of Ballots Burn

In an alarming act of vandalism, a Vancouver, WA ballot drop box was targeted in an arson attack early Monday morning, with hundreds of ballots potentially destroyed.

The FBI has taken over the investigation, linking this incident to other recent arson cases in Portland and nearby regions.

Smoke and flames were witnessed billowing from the Fisher’s Landing Transit Center drop box as police and explosive experts arrived to secure the scene.

Authorities have also uncovered a suspicious device near the box, intensifying security concerns as Election Day nears.

This arson, combined with a previous incident earlier this month, suggests a coordinated attack aimed at disrupting local voting processes.
