Caitlin Clark named 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year in near unanimous vote.

After a 66-1 vote, just one shy of being unanimous, Caitlin Clark has been named WNBA Rookie of the Year.

After capturing America's attention during her college career at the University of Iowa, expectations were set high for the 22-year-old basketball star as she went pro.

Clark, who was selected 1st overall by the Indiana Fever in this year's WNBA draft, broke multiple records in her debut season.

She set league records for single-game and single-season assists with 19 and 337, as well as becoming the first rookie in WNBA history to post a triple-double, in which a player must score at least 10 points, rebounds, and assists in a single game.

Coming in as the runner-up with one vote was Chicago Sky breakout star Angel Reese, who Clark faced in the highly viewed NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament championship game just last year.
