Stormont leaders speak to media ahead of chancellor meeting

Michelle O’Neill rejects suggestions that calls for more funds for Northern Ireland from the UK Treasury is reaching out a “begging bowl” from the government.

First Minister Michelle O'Neill, deputy First Minister Emma Little Pengelly and Finance Minister Caoimhe Archibald are in London for a meeting with Chancellor Rachel Reeves to press for an improved funding model for the devolved Executive in Belfast.
