Lucy Faces an Awkward Moment on ABC's The Rookie

Following a high-stakes arrest at the auditions for 'American Idol,' rookie Officer Lucy Chen (Melissa O'Neil) unexpectedly finds herself in the spotlight.

In a surprising twist, she ends up meeting Ryan Seacrest and, before she knows it, is auditioning in front of judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie.

Despite being a natural talent with an impressive performance, her chance to earn a coveted golden ticket is cut short when Officer Bradford (Eric Winter) steps in and reminds her of her duties, pulling her back to reality and the streets she’s sworn to protect.
