Sir Ian McKellen’s ‘emotional memory’ of falling off stage

Actor Sir Ian McKellen describes falling off stage while playing Falstaff in the West End earlier in the year.

The Lord of the Rings star says he was saved by the fat suit he was wearing but is left with an “emotional memory” of the accident.
