Jennifer Lopez was reportedly very opposed to divorcing Ben Affleck, but according to People magazine, she now feels "relieved" after filing.

Their relationship, once seen as either a fairy tale or a cautionary tale, has sadly become the latter.

After first getting engaged in 2002 and splitting in 2004, they rekindled their romance in 2021 and married in Las Vegas in 2022.

However, rumors of trouble began circulating in May 2024, and by August, Lopez officially filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.

An insider revealed that while divorce was Lopez’s last resort, she ultimately feels it may have been the right decision.
