Independence Day: Dehradun’s Historic Jail Where The Walls Were Heightened by Britishers| VIDEO

On the occasion of Independence day, we visited the renowned cellular jail in Dehradun and that ward where the first PM of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was jailed many times.

It is also known as Nehru Heritage Centre.

Pandit Nehru was sent to this jail for the first time in the year 1932 during the British rule.

After which he was imprisoned here in 1934, 1935 and 1941 also.
