In a show of solidarity, the Nobel laureate called for unity and equal rights for all, emphasising the importance of addressing the root causes of communal tensions.
Yunus's visit comes in the wake of numerous attacks on Hindus following the resignation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, with widespread protests demanding better protection for minority communities.
