Celine Dion Slams Trump Campaign Over Unauthorized Use of Music: “Really, That Song?”
On August 10th, Celine Dion’s team addressed the unauthorized use of her iconic song "My Heart Will Go On" at a Trump campaign rally by posting a statement on her Instagram.
The statement made it clear that neither Dion nor her record label, Sony Music Entertainment Canada Inc., had authorized the use of her music or likeness at the event.
While Celine Dion usually stays away from direct political commentary, this statement not only rejected any association with the Trump campaign but also subtly mocked their choice of song.
