'You've Made India Proud': PM Modi Dials Manu Bhaker After Her Olympic Bronze Win

Prime Minister Narendra Modi personally called Manu Bhaker to congratulate her on winning India’s first medal at the Paris Olympics 2024.

Bhaker secured a bronze medal in the 10m Air Pistol Final on Sunday.

PM Modi expressed his pride, stating, "You have made your country proud." Earlier, on the microblogging site X, the prime minister lauded Manu’s victory as an “incredible achievement,” highlighting that she is the first Indian woman to win a medal in shooting at the Olympics.
