The oil tanker Prestige Falcon capsized off Oman's coast near Duqm port, resulting in the disappearance of its 16-member crew (13 Indians, 3 Sri Lankans).
The incident occurred 25 nautical miles southeast of Ras Madrakah.
As of Thursday, search efforts continued with the vessel underwater and inverted.
No oil leaks were reported.
The tanker was en route to Aden, Yemen.
Duqm, a crucial economic center for Oman's oil and gas projects, houses major installations.
The cause of the capsize remains unknown.
