Kuwait Fire: Indian Air Force Ready to Repatriate Bodies of Victims as Nation Mourns | Oneindia News

In a tragic incident in the Al-Mangaf building in southern Kuwait, 49 people lost their lives, with 42 of them being Indian nationals.

The devastating fire has left the Indian community in deep mourning.

Tamil Nadu Minister for Minorities Welfare and Non-Resident Tamils Welfare, KS Masthan, confirmed that five people from the state have perished.

Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh has been dispatched to Kuwait to provide assistance and ensure the swift repatriation of the bodies.

An Indian Air Force aircraft is ready to bring back the mortal remains of the victims. The Indian government has pledged full support to the affected families during this difficult time.
