Shapps 'filled with pride' over Sunak's upbringing

Grant Shapps says that he is “filled with pride” when he thinks about the story of Rishi Sunak’s childhood, saying that his parents gave up a lot to bring him up so that he could go on to be prime minister.

The defence secretary said: “He comes from an immigrant family who come here, work hard, do give up on things in order to bring their children up… who ends up being prime minister of the United Kingdom.” Report by Covellm.
