Elon Musk Withdraws Lawsuit Against OpenAI

Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk dropped his lawsuit against OpenAI and its CEO Sam Altman on June 11th.

The suit, which initially made headlines in March, alleged breach of contract and fiduciary duty, reflecting Musk's dissatisfaction with OpenAI's shift from its original open-source mission to a more profit-driven model.

Many speculated that the lawsuit aimed to realign OpenAI with its founding principles, though its legal validity was questionable.

Despite withdrawing the suit, Musk remains critical of OpenAI, recently condemning its partnership with Apple and questioning the company's commitment to security and privacy on social media platform X.
