This comes in the wake of Kansas City Chiefs place kicker Harrison Butker’s controversial commencement speech at Benedictine College, where he suggested that most women graduates were likely more excited about marriage and motherhood than their careers.

The speech received backlash for undermining women's academic achievements.

An X user criticized Kelce for not supporting Butker and for allegedly having a messy home, to which Kelce responded by emphasizing that he views his wife as an equal partner rather than just a homemaker.

He clarified that while he respects those who identify as homemakers, it doesn't reflect their family dynamic.
