City minister discusses government's plan to cut taxes

Economic secretary to the Treasury Bim Afolami insisted cutting taxes remains a "core Conservative principle" as he set out the government's economic plan ahead of the election.

"We are cutting taxes that help grow the economy and that means that overall we're going to have more money for our public services," he said.
