Cyclone Remal Alert: India, Bangladesh Brace For ‘Severe’ Havoc Headed Towards West Bengal

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced that a developing cyclonic storm in the Bay of Bengal, named Cyclone Remal, is expected to strike the coasts of West Bengal and Bangladesh as a severe cyclone on May 26 (Saturday).

This event is set to coincide with the voting in eight seats during the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections in West Bengal.
