The 'Legally Blonde' prequel series is officially a go at Amazon!

Original 'Legally Blonde' star Reese Witherspoon was on deck to announce a series order for the show during Amazon's first-ever upfront presentation.

The actress is set to executive produce the show from creator Laura Kittrell.

The show, titled 'Elle,' will tell the origin story of Elle Woods as a 1990s high schooler.
