Biden Reaches Out To Hamas With Ceasefire Deal as Israel Pushes Deeper Into Gaza’s Rafah

US President Joe Biden has directly offered a ceasefire to Hamas, stressing that the decision now lies with the group.

Biden indicates that the ceasefire could be implemented as early as tomorrow if Hamas releases its hostages.

Additionally, Biden extends an offer to Israel, providing valuable intelligence on Hamas leaders' whereabouts if Israel refrains from a major operation in Rafah.

The US also pledges assistance to Israel in erecting large shelters for Palestinians evacuated from Rafah.

However, Biden issues a warning to Israel, stating that the supply of artillery shells and weapons could be halted if it proceeds with an attack on Rafah.

Despite multiple rounds of indirect negotiations, Hamas and Israel have yet to reach a ceasefire agreement.
