Rescue efforts for people and pets ongoing amid Brazil floods

Rescue efforts continue in Brazil’s Rio Grande do Sul following deadly floods that claimed the lives of 107 people and left 754 injured.

Local media reports indicate that the disaster caused more than 164,000 to lose their homes, with 67,000 evacuating to shelters.
