'Oldboy' TV Series in the Works From Park Chan-wook and Lionsgate | THR News Video

A television adaptation of Park Chan-wook's 2003 film 'Oldboy' is in the works.

The Korean filmmaker is partnering with Lionsgate Television to develop the series, which would be an English-language adaptation of the story.

Park said, "Lionsgate Television shares my creative vision for bringing 'Oldboy' into the world of television.

I look forward to working with a studio whose brand stands for bold, original and risk-taking storytelling."
