Rishi Sunak has refused to explain how he intends to fund a £46bn plan to abolish National Insurance – during this week’s Prime Minister’s Questions.

Despite being pressed multiple times by Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer, the PM insisted his government has delivered the biggest tax cut since the 1980s.
