Police take no action against JK Rowling over hate crime comments
Police Scotland says no action will be taken against JK Rowling, after the author criticised Scotland’s new hate crime law.
The Harry Potter author lashed out at new measures which came into force on April 1 and challenged police to arrest her.
Scottish First Minister Humza Yousaf introduced the legislation, which aims to tackle harm caused by hatred and prejudice.
