Republicans, Past Time to Lead

The country is nearly 35 trillion in debt and increasing a trilion every hundred days.

The Democrats couldn't care less and many Republicans are afraid to do anything about it.

The House, that is currently held by a slim margin by the Republicans have the power of the purse, but they are afraid to shut down about 25 percent of the government to get at least some control over the debt and deficit.

They recently caved to the Democrats to pass a 1.2 trillion budget omnibus bill, the second part of the omnibus that was earlier passed.

The bill contains all sorts of disastrous policies, such as abortion and "transgender" support.

And the bill had nothing for border security, though Biden would ignore it anyway.

More Republicans in the House voted against it, thus it would not have passed without the Democrats.

So pathetic.

They say that they can't do much because their margin is small and they don't have a Republican President.

The weak Republicans have said this in the past, but when they get both chambers and the Presidency, they don't cut spending.

The house is on fire, there is no time to wait.

Spending and the size of government have to be cut or the country won't survive.

The debt will continue to rise, and at much faster rates than the Democrats lyingly claim.

It will hit 50 trillion in less than a decade.

That is not sustainable.

It's well past time for Republicans to step in and save the country.

Get courage for a change, instead of always focusing on the next election.

What's the use of having a Republican majority if you are not going to do anything with it.
