Electoral Bonds Disclosure: SC of India Warns SBI, Comply with Order or Face Contempt |Oneindia News

The Supreme Court dismissed the State Bank of India's plea for an extension to disclose electoral bond details, directing disclosure by March 12, 2024.

This decision follows the court's ruling against the 2018 electoral bond scheme changes.

SBI's confusion over matching exercises was clarified by the Chief Justice, emphasising the need for plain disclosure.

Contempt proceedings may ensue if directives are not followed.
